STEM Night
By Liza Shevchuk

Members from our Vision Science community recently participated in STEM Night at John Muir Elementary School in Berkeley. As part of the event, volunteers led a vision-based activity using prism goggles and a bag toss game, demonstrating how the visual, proprioceptive, and motor systems work together to guide movement. The activity offered a fun, interactive way for students to experience how the brain integrates sensory information in real time.
Thank you to Angeline Yang, Lauren Sigda, Rijul Saurabh Soans, Christopher Wu, Gorkem Er, Shangbang Luo, and Will Tuten for representing Berkeley and engaging the local community through this successful event!
