Molecular and Cell Biology – Mechanisms of neurodegeneration and glaucoma. Glial cell activation. Cellular models of optic nerve and retinal astrocyte activation using biomechanical, pharmocological and hypoxic insult (primary human and rat). Biomarkers and proteomics.
