Minnie and Roseanna Turner Fund Award

Second-year vision science PhD student, Emily Ward, MSc, has been granted an award by the Minnie and Roseanna Turner Fund for Impaired Vision Research. The $3,000 grant will assist Emily in pursuing her goal in the field of impaired vision research. Congrats, Emily!
The Minnie and Roseanna Turner Fund is a charitable trust which awards a number of students each year in support of research pertaining to improvement of vision and coping with impaired vision. The designated trustee, Alexander T. Bowman, is directed to distribute funds annually to graduate student applicants who are enrolled in institutions which are members of the Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry (ASCO). Applications are reviewed by the trustee and the Dean of the Herbert Wertheim School of Optometry & Vision Science, who determine the winners.
