VS Retreat 2025

On the weekend of October 18th, 31 students, postdocs, faculty, and staff from the Vision Science community attended the annual fall retreat at Saratoga Springs, where they gathered for seminars on current VS research. The retreat also provided the opportunity to have fun! The group engaged in team building activities and social events.

Students, postdocs, and visiting researchers also had the opportunity to present their research. Tejas Kothapalli (3rd year PhD student, Yates lab) won the "Eye for Design" award and Jocelyn Tao (1st year PhD student, rotating – Yates lab) won the 20/20 Communication award. Emily Ward was also presented with the Outstanding GSI award for 2024. A huge congratulations to these students and everyone that participated!
