Sharing research from the vision science graduate group.
On Thursday, May 22, we held the 2025 Vision Science Symposium at the Faculty Club. This annual event honors graduating students from the Vision Science program, giving them the opportunity to share their research.
This year, two graduates presented their thesis work. Stephanie Reeves delivered a talk titled "Influence of Egocentric and Visual Scene Biases on Saccadic Eye Movements," while Max Greene presented "The Influence of Cone Spectral Topography on Vision." Following the talks, attendees gathered for a reception featuring appetizers and drinks.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to those who helped make this event a success! Special thanks to Assistant Director of Vision Science & Residency Programs Alex Marquez for leading the organization of the event!
