WHERE I'M FROM

Redondo Beach, California.

BEFORE VS

I completed my undergraduate studies in 2022 at UC San Diego where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology and a minor in Business. During my time at UC San Diego, I worked with patients at the Shiley Eye Institute and joined the Borooah Lab. Between 2021-2024, I conducted clinical retina research investigating new biomarkers in the retina in order to improve the clinical identification of diseases like age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and diabetic retinopathy.

MY GOALS

Through the program, I hope to mature as a scientist and a teacher. I ultimately aspire to join academia as an educator and researcher with a focus on clinical and translational medicine.

MY RESEARCH

I am interested in advancing a deeper understanding of retinal degenerative disorders and exploring new avenues that ocular research can take to improve clinical treatment.

MY HOBBIES

In my spare time, I love to rock climb, hike, work out, and spend time with family and friends!
