WHERE I'M FROM

New York, NY (born in Washington!)

BEFORE VS

I studied Neurobiology at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. After graduating, I taught English in Mohammedia, Morocco for the school year. I also lived in NYC where I worked in cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

WHY I’M HERE

I'm here to learn! I love reading articles, asking questions, and discussing research with fellow science-lovers, and this led me to pursue a PhD. I plan to learn as much as I can during my studies so that I can use my research and skills to improve our understanding of vision.

MY RESEARCH

I am fascinated by how the visual system processes information from the world and how this gives rise to perception. I'm also intrigued by the role of eye movements.

MY GOALS

My goal is to study hard and gain the necessary skills to become a vision scientist. I hope to contribute to the field.

MY HOBBIES

I enjoy running, biking, hiking, listening to live music, and trying out new bakeries.
