[Email] Aaron B. Sullivan BA (Fall 2004 +)

I Graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a B.A. in Biology Winter of 2000.

Since Graduating I have worked in the biotech industry of silicon valley to find what career path which I wished to persue. I've had the oppurtunities of doing research, quality assurance and quality control as well as manufacturing in the companies I've worked at since gradurating.

My current goals are to return to research and begin preparations for graduate study.

I have been hired at UC Berkeley to help CORE manage their Zeiss Axioplan 2e imaging deconvolution microscope as well as several other CORE-wide facilities.

[Email] Howard Ellenberger PhD, BSc (Summer 2002+)

Stefan R. De La Garza BA (Fall 2003-Fall 2004)

Stefan received a BA in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology as well as a BA in Creative Writing – Poetry, from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2001.

After completing a stint as a Research Associate (Tissue Culture) at the Salk Institute in San Diego, Stefan moved to the wonderful and appetizing city of San Francisco in 2002, where he currently lives next to the ocean. Even though he can barely swim.

He has left UC Berkeley to gain a graduate degree in poetry at SF State University

[Email] Holly Severson MSc, BSc (Spring 2003-Fall 2003)

I am a Research Associate in Dr. Wildsoet's lab where I am working on a human-based
study looking at the effect of bifocal contact lenses on ocular accommodation. I received my BSc in Zoology (Minor in Geology) from San Francisco State University in 1997 and went on to the University of Michigan where I earned an MSc in Biology in 2000.

(When not in the lab, I play with my two delightful yet oh-so-horribly neglected black-and-white kitties, Frannie and Brother (Charlie), read non-fiction books and magazines primarily about politics, sociology, and women's studies as well as select fiction books, play with oil paints, and enthusiastically participate in anti-war and pro-civil rights rallies, meetings, and other actions. Whew!)
