Rock the Centennial

On Monday, June 5th, our community gathered at the Cornerstone in Berkeley to hear Dean Flanagan's band perform – The Lost Faculties! A special thanks to Assistant Director of Admissions, Ardi Samonte, for his amazing DJ set!
About the Band
The Lost Faculties were formed in 2000, when the optometry students at the University of Waterloo in Canada challenged the faculty to take part in their annual skit night event. The band members have remained largely the same over the past 22 years, being mainly drawn from current and former faculty and staff at the school, including Dean Flanagan on the bass guitar!
They play a mixture of classic and contemporary rock and R&B from bands such as AC/DC, INXS, the Rolling Stones, Eagles, Beatles, and such Canadian icons as the Tragically Hip and Tom Cochrane, among others. The band has played at student and professional events and fund raisers across the US and Canada and even at conferences in the Netherlands and the UK.
