Deconvolution Microscope

Location: Room 387 Minor Hall; associated imaging workstation in 387F Minor Hall

This microscope is a Zeiss Axioplan 2e imaging upright microscope and is equipped with 6 objective lenses, ranging from 1.25x to 100x magnification. Additional objectives include a 1.6x optovar lens for brightfield imaging and 2 dipping lenses (20x and 40x magnification) suitable for water and media immersion. Fully automated, this microscope runs on either Zeiss Axiovision 3.1 or 4.0 software, with attached Z-stack and deconvolution modules. This room is humidity and temperature controlled. An additional high-speed Dell computer is available in an adjacent room for image processing and is loaded with Photoshop and deconvolvution software, For more information, see www.zeiss.com.
