|I’M FROM:||Nashville, Tennessee|
I studied psychology at Belmont University before becoming a research analyst at Vanderbilt University in the Psychiatric Neuroimaging Program.
|WHY I’M HERE:||
The combination of diverse research interests in the Vision Science program provided a unique opportunity to study visual perception using different approaches.
|MY RESEARCH:||I’m interested in understanding how the brain constructs a model of the visual world from incomplete and varying information.|
|MY DREAMS:||Whether in academia or elsewhere, I hope to contribute to the scientific understanding of human perception and to develop computational tools to help researchers.|
When not working, I enjoy listening to and making music, watching movies, and exploring San Francisco.
